With Just 93 Miles On The Clock, This Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf Awaits Its Next Millionaire Owner
In the late 2000s, Aston Martin decided that it wanted an ultra-luxury sedan to challenge the likes of Bentley, Maybach and Rolls-Royce. So, they revived the Lagonda sub-brand and greenlit the development of the Taraf.
The first real-life photos of the car were released in 2014, and it celebrated its public premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. Aston originally intended to limit the Lagonda Taraf to the Middle East, but rich clients living in the United States, Europe, Singapore and South Africa wanted to get their hands on one, and the automaker was happy to oblige.

A total of 200 units were supposed to see the light of day, at $1 million a pop, but Aston Martin ended the production after an estimated 120. Now, one of those cars is for sale at Nicholas Mee in Hertfordshire, near Central London, UK. It was built in 2016, sports a black exterior on top of a beige cabin, and features everything expected from such a ride, from high-end leather upholstery to rear seat entertainment, premium sound system and champagne cooler.
For a car developed to offer supreme luxury on the go, this Lagonda Taraf was barely driven, as the odo indicates a mere 150 km (93 miles).
The Taraf is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 making 533 HP and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque that’s coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) acceleration is dealt with in just a little over 4 seconds and top speed stands at around 190 mph (305 km/h).
